Choosing a reliable and quality Freestyle BMX fork is important. It's a key component that the rider must rely on for impact, and so we tell a few how to choose correctly.

MATERIAL

We recommend choosing a fork made of 4130 CrMo steel because it is a reliable and proven material that uses all the leading brands in the market.

DROPOUTS

It is good if fork dropouts are CNC machined. Combined with fork legs, they are classically welded or applied by investment-cast technology. The thickness of dropouts is different for each manufacturer. We recommend wider dropouts for street riders who use pegs and narrower for park or dirt riders. We also recommend choosing a fork for the 10mm front hub axle.

OFFSET

Offset fork is also an important thing. It means how the wheel is offset from the fork legs. For street driving we recommend a short from 15mm to 25mm. For parking and dirt riding, a good offset is from 25mm to 35mm. With a shorter offset, the bike is more powerful and helps to tricks like, "Nosemanual". Longer offset bike is more stable at high speeds and in air.
