Hello Andrew ! How are you ? What is going on in your life lately ?

Yo! Wassup Marek, hey everyone!

All good . Life is feeling better then ever lately, and that’s because i just moved to Prague recently ! So future looks very promising in terms of life & bmx progress , with all the opportunities you got in there:) So hyped !

How do you feel on your new BMX setup ?

After i changed my frame to 21.25 of top tube length- bike started to feel finally the correct way, and absolutely amazing, bike is feel stable and quick in rotations, so that’s the combo i’m always wanted, so i’m in love with my current setup which junkride lovely supported to build ?

WTP PATHFINDER 21.25" FRAME, ÉCLAT PARTS, ODYSSEY FORK

BIKE was refreshed with new longer 21.25" Wethepeople PATHFINDER Frame, which is better for tall Andrew. Fork is well proven Odyssey R15. Other parts are mostly ÉCLAT.

What part of your bike do you like the most ?

Now probably it’s the newest WTP Pathfinder 2023 frame with the 21.25 top tube , I launched recently on my bike. To me - it’s feels now like Mills v2 , after I jumped on it, the geometry is very cool, and similar, to my past Mills frame. From the technical side about this frame I like the tall standover of 9.666 (MAFIA) and the advantage of the 76° head tube in the spins and nose manuals. I will notice as well the big gap in the dropouts length, so you could master length from 12.9 up to 13.5 , so you will find the best settings for your setup in different situations in streets. And i like design pretty much, I did a little custom of stickers, on it , so now it’s looks even better to me :)

How do you keep yourself in such BMX progress ?

For me - BMX was always about pushing yourself to your limits , that’s what this sport about on my opinion . Because it’s always only a mind game with yourself, and all the limits you putting into yourself in the terms of progression - are always in your headbox. I found my interest to bmx through everyday progression. I remember since i started to ride - I wanted always learn something new on every single session, and the local guys around, who was older and better than me on the bike at that time - was always motivated me to push myself , and get better :) I’m so glad I still got that fire in me to push myself to progress 10 years straight.

Also , I’m athletic since my deep childhood, and get this type of mentality from martial arts, which I transferred to bmx, so I always keep my body in shape , and regularly working out at home or gym, and trying to eating a real food on a regular basis.

Do you work on some new tricks nowadays ?

Yes sir , I got a lot of plans on tricks I haven’t done yet , and its some tricks in street I would like to film for my next videopart as a icepick hard 180’whip on the rail, cab switch down whip, pegs to hard truck, pegs to hard 5, double truck down some set , and more more like this .

Also I would love to learn all the hard ways 180, from every single grind, and learn all the grinds in switch stance, with all possible 180’s out :) . Still got lot work to do on my grind game, I wish to be as technical as i could you know.

And as well I really need to work harder on my park ridding , so I can feel my self confident in every park or pool course . Want to fly higher, and do more crazy transfers with the tricks in it.

What are your plans for 2024 ?

I got a lot of plans I would be like to accomplish in the year of 2024! And some of them I already achieved, as a new videopart for the online video contest at street culture bmx magazine, and transfer to Prague.

But I’m not a big fan of lightering out the plans for future :) So watch out of mine & Junkridecrew instagramm, to not miss any of news about future !
