The Freestyle BMX sprocket is most often found in two main clamping designs called SPLINE DRIVE and BOLT DRIVE. The Spline drive is a 48-spindle-axis transducer sliding system. The connection with the cranks is very strong, but this system can only be used with the crankshaft with a 48-axis axis. The much used system is BOLT DRIVE. With it, the sprocket is clamped to the crank. Simple and years-tested way.
DRIVE TYPES
Spline drive is a more modern and relatively widespread trend in clamping. The transducer slides directly onto the 48-axis spindle axis and provides a reliable pull. However, this system can only be used for cranks with 48-axis axes. Bolt drive is a clamping system with a screw that tightens through the transducer from the inside of the crank. this system can be used on all cranks with "bolt drive".
NUMBER OF TEETH
BMX sprocket are manufactured with varying numbers of teeth. Most commonly 25 teeth or 28 teeth are used. We recommend 25 teeth for park and street ride. For dirt and trails ride is 28 teeth better. For lovers of grind, we recommend using a guard with a guard to ensure chain safety.
