Thanks to Maker that I can write "a few words" about my new video INDOOR HIBERNATION. As the name suggests, this is an edit shot only indoors. One of them is our local DIY spot @sklepark and the other is Sportpark Lissfeld in Linz, Austria. I came up with this video project sometime at the beginning of winter for several reasons.
The main one is probably that I had a bit of an allergy to Instagram. I wanted something more valuable than an instaclip from a session. It often seems to me that the rider adds a few Insta clips during the year (months,... depending on how active he is) and at the same time, if he saves those clips a bit, he cuts a great part or mixtape from them, which he puts on YouTube and is another edit that you like to play with your friends or when you want to have fun at the session. And with that, the screening of the video, where the scene will meet, have a beer, chat, ride, but simply what we all like so much and it belongs to BMX.
Another reason was that I enjoy not only shooting, watching, but also editing videos, I just didn't get around to it some Friday. And where better to remember it and have fun with it than with your own video.
Last but not least, to motivate yourself to drive in winter as much as possible. To maintain such a healthy drive in riding and shooting so that after the winter we can continue with Kryštof Krechler (@krystofoto) in the creation of a larger project we are working on (stay tuned).
I would also like to thank Michal Mertlík for filming most of the clips, Jonáš Soukup for filming the rest of the clips and animation in the intro, Kryštof Krechler for helping with the effects for cuts. Also to everyone with whom I traveled and had a lot of fun while filming, which is probably the most important thing.
