BIKEFEST KÁLNICA 2024 WAS A MASSACRE!

Even this year, BIKEFEST Kálnica did not disappoint and was true to its title of the best fairy tale event of the year. During the three-day festival, a large number of fairy-tale disciplines were raced. It was a lot of riding, fun and partying. Of course, we from the Junkride Crew were also present with our stand.

In addition to the FBM Slopestyle event, a round of the Slovak Freestyle BMX/MTB Cup in the DIRT JUMP category was also held for the first time at Bikefest this year. Watch the video from the event by Jakub Zrubec.

SLOVAK FREESTYLE MTB DIRT JUMP CUP

The DIRT JUMP cup was run on the Kálnická DIRT JUMP / TRAILS line consisting of 6 jumps. The dirty ones are not big, but they are more than technical, and in order for the rider to do tricks on them, they have to be well ridden. It turned out that who knows how to ride dirt, not just tricks.

Up to 23 riders not only from Slovakia took part in the MTB DIRT category. Interesting and stylish tricks were ridden. Mathias Machara, who finished in 5th place, gave the most stylish rides and tricks. Viktor Vadovič and Sam Szab fought for 3rd place. Where Viktor ended up 3rd and Samo 4th. The second place was taken by our Palo Hraško and the 1st place went to Jakub Vencl from the Czech Republic.

SLOVAK FREESTYLE BMX DIRT JUMP CUP

13 riders entered the BMX category. The first three were in a familiar composition, 3rd place Jozef Naništa. The first place was decided between the trick machine Tomáš Tohol and the stylish dirter Adrian Miko. Dirt style decided and Adrián Miko took first place.

BIRELL BIKEFEST EVENT OF THE YEAR

Bikefest Kálnica is a great event that every biker should experience. There are many disciplines, the most extreme of which is FMB Slopestyle. This year it was a SILVER level race. World riders come here. Be sure not to miss this event next year!
