Dual compound:
For the dual compound, two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the mixtures is planned individually according to the desired properties of the Maxxis tires.

EXO Protection:
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires from Maxxis. It is very densely woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.

Tubeless ready:
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no hose, the risk of breakdown also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of the Maxxis TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. As a result, tubeless mounting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions as soon as they are inflated and with little liquid.
