We have already completed the 11th JUNKRIDE INDOOR JAM in the hall in Šurany. It was again an interesting event, full of riding and fun. This year, under the Indoor Jam, we combined the final round of the Slovak Cup with the Slovak Championship in the Freestyle BMX PARK discipline. More than 40 riders took part in the competition, and many spectators came to watch. Watch the video, photo report and results from the event.

At the INDOOR JAM, it was decided about the Masters of Slovakia and the Winners of the Slovak Cup 2023 in the Olympic discipline of Freestyle BMX PARK.

In the Men's and Women's FREESTYLE BMX PARK Master categories, there was also a fight for points for the international rankings of the world cycling organization UCI. The Slovak Championships are included in the UCI calendar every year, and local riders can thus improve their world ranking. You can find the current UCI ranking here: UCI RANKING

Among the boys, the first 3 rungs were decided between the regulars, the Slovak representatives, and the jury had a lot to do to make the right decision between the well-matched riders with different ratios of evaluation criteria, difficulty of tricks / creativity / style. In the end, Michal Kovačovič took the third place with great style, Adrián Miko finished second with great tricks in the heights, and Tomáš Tohol took the first place as usual. Adept at the top three ranks, Martin Toma was injured in training. Young representatives and members of the Talented Youth Center deservedly finished on the other ranks. 4 girls took part and the first place was won by Lucia Čajková from Námestov, second Angelika Ižáková and third Kristína Hrnčárová.

There were 9 riders in the 7-15 years old category and 4 riders under 7 years old! It can be seen that riders start BMX at an increasingly younger age, and our BMX SCHOOL in Šurany also contributes to their training.

In the category JUNIOR 7-15 years old, the talented local rider from Šuria, Pavol Pavlík, took first place, and Matej Kapusta, who drives for JUNKRIDE, finished second, and Adrián Sulan also rode nicely in third place for BRS. In the category under 7 years of age, pupils of Šurianska BMX SCHOOL rode.

BMX STREET JAM

Between the intense PARK rides, we also had a chill BMX STREET JAM, where the guys finally turned it up and really big things fell! The biggest bombs fell clearly from riders like Andrej Szabo, who gave, for example, 18 barspin from the downrailride. And other big things fell classically from Miki Kovačovič, Andrii Nesterov or from Mário Jambo Flamík, who re-manualized the entire park and Jozef Naništa also drove nicely.

Great music from DJs accompanied by commentator Ludis played for us all day long. And at the end, the after-party started with a drink on the spot.
