FOTO AND VIDEO OF THE YEAR 2024

We are launching a big competition for the prize for the Freestyle BMX and MTB photo and video of the year! We haven't had a competition like this here for a long time and we decided that we want to see quality riding in quality videos and photos. So don't hesitate and join in!

In the past, we regularly held such competitions. There wasn't so much Instagram and Facebook yet, and more longer YouTube videos were shot and more photos were taken with cameras, not just hundreds of photos taken with mobile phones in portrait mode. Maybe thanks to the competition we will discover new talents, or we will simply give you a space to show yourself outside of social networks, where photos and videos can easily get lost. That's why we are renewing the competition and want to make it a tradition. I believe that we motivate you to shoot better quality edits and better photos of riding!

COMPETITION CATEGORIES

The competition is open to photos and videos showing Freestyle BMX riding, PARK, STREET, DIRT all categories, as well as Freestyle MTB, Dirt Jump, park and Freeride. The rider participates in the competition in cooperation with a photographer/cameraman.

PHOTO OF THE YEAR 2024

Published or unpublished photos from 2024. Send photos by email.

VIDEO OF THE YEAR 2024

Published videos, ideally on YouTube. We will also consider high-quality Instagram videos. So send links to YouTube or Instagram videos by email.

DIVISION OF CATEGORIES

We realize that it is the end of the year and a large number of competitors will not have time to register, so we will still adjust the categories according to the number of registered participants. For example, dividing the prize into Instagram video and Youtube video, or BMX and MTB.

COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The rules of the competition are simple:

1. Send us a photo or a link to your video to the email: contest@junkrideshop.com by 25.12.2024

2. Write the author of the photo/video and the name of the rider in the email. Contact details: email, phone number, possibly also Instagram. Also write a short info about how the photo/video was created, where it was, etc.

3. The video/photo should be of good quality, well-edited. We will continuously share the best ones.

4. The photo or a larger part of the video must be filmed, shot in 2024

5. The winners will be selected by the Junkride Crew

6. The winners will be announced on 26.12.2024 at www.junkrideshop.com

WHAT DO WE EVALUATE?

- difficulty of tricks and riding level

- quality of the photo, video

- thought, idea, creativity

WHAT CAN YOU WIN?

We will give away €120 worth of shopping vouchers to the winners at JUNKRIDESHOP.com and Junkride Clothing.

PHOTO AND VIDEO OF THE YEAR 2025

From the new year, we are launching the competition for 2025, where we will add more categories. Those who can't make it this year can do it all next year and the announcement will be made again in December 2025!
